In order to carry out its global task of sharing the Gospel, the Sacred Heart Mission Crusade expands with new units.

While unit establishment is usually done by 3rd degree members, that is those with direct experience in an existing unit, it is also possible for those in locations where the Mission Crusade has not developed to inquire about starting a unit.

While Mission Crusade units do and can include non-Catholics, Mission Crusade unit leaders must be Catholic or in the process of becoming Catholic.
